Voces 2013 participants Simon, Tatyana and Serafina go LIVE on television Wednesday morning with The Morning Brew with Larry Ahrens & Erin Muffoletto on Comcast Cable Channel 26. Ekphrastic Poetry Workshop with Santa Fe Poet Laureate Emeritus Valerie Martinez & Dr. Shelle Sanchez

Ekphrasis (also spelled “echprasis”) is a direct transcription from the Greek ek, “out of,” and phrasis, “speech” or “expression.” Ekphrastic writing is poetry/prose that comments upon another art form, e.g., a poem about a photograph or a novel about a film.
